Thought of the Day: Coach Hinton has challenged us with these words. An upstart works to become a contender. A contender learns how to win. A winner yearns to become a champion. A champion strives to become a Dynasty. Compared to other groups around St Paul, we are the upstart. Let's be in prayer for each other to take that next step. |

Band of Brothers – Why bother?
Most men can count the number of good friends they have on 1 hand. As we get older, we get lost in the world of career, family, and task lists. The challenges we face get bigger while our support systems get smaller.
M3 isn't asking you or any of the men at St. Paul UMC to join a small group - a band of brothers. In fact, we don't feel that anyone benefits from a forced friendship. We're still guys, we're all different, and we all get along with some guys better than others.
M3 wants you to consider grow inside your band of brothers. Whether it's your golfing buddies, fishing buddies, bowling buddies, woodworking buddies, model train buddies, or whatever kind of small group you're in... and transform it into your M3 band of brothers.
Each group will form a bond and a relationship that is manly, relevant, and uplifting. M3 will help resource your band of brothers as much as you need.
Whether it's a devotional or an in depth study ... M3 will help you stay on track.
Men are strong in numbers and each small group will consist of 5 - 6 guys.
Rally your band of brothers and put on the armor of God. It's a war out there. |

M3: Christmas 360. - What is it?
Christmas 360 is the primary mission of M3 and it is a major departure from the normal way of mission work for men's ministry. Jesus Christ instructs us that of all the commands, there are 2 that we should dwell upon.
1. Love God with all that you are. 2. Love your neighbor as yourself.
Christmas shows us what it means to love your neighbor as yourself. The season where we pull back from work, we open our hearts, we give of ourselves, and we seek out opportunities to help others. Christmas is the picture of what it means to be saved to serve. Following Jesus can be summed up in the attitude and life we live at Christmas time.
M3 will focus energy and effort to support the church and its missions through the gears of Christmas 360.
M3 will serve its mission by helping existing church missions expand. In addition, each M3 Band of Brothers is encouraged to seek out and help families in need with emphasis on single parents and children who are struggling to find a way to make ends meet. |

Men at the Cross was an exciting weekend in Baton Rouge, LA. Located at Bethany World Prayer Center the program started with great Praise Music. Six members of M3 attended and were filled with the love of God. A dramatic program began with Joe White and his cross presentation. The special speakers were Rick Rigsby, Joe White, Marvin Daniels, Larry Stockstill, Michael W. Smith and Ken Smith. Powerful praise music led by Michael W. Smith on Friday night opened the hearts of all men in attendance.
If you missed the program we will be doing an outreach program for the men at St. Paul sometime in the near future. The scope of Men at the Cross is to identify Paul’s and Timothy’s and the two form a bond to help each other finish the race of life placing Christ to be in discipleship within the journey.
